Asia’s First Blackwell $1.4 billion Supercluster by Mid-2026
Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., better known as Foxconn (2317.TW), revealed on Friday that the massive $1.4 billion AI supercomputing facility it is jointly developing with Nvidia (NVDA.O) in Taiwan is on track to become fully operational during the first six months of 2026. Upon completion, the centre will stand as the largest and most powerful advanced GPU cluster on the entire island.
The state-of-the-art 27-megawatt data centre will be driven exclusively by Nvidia’s cutting-edge Blackwell GB300 processors. Neo Yao, chief executive of Visonbay – the newly established Foxconn division dedicated to AI supercomputing and cloud infrastructure – confirmed that this project will also make history as the very first GB300-powered AI data centre anywhere in Asia.
